I appreciated its extremely helpful and very amiable employees.
it was an extremely convenient and stylish hotel in a historic area, near to all the main sights in the city, the central railway station of zaragoza and plaza de spania and the other major tourist attractions. there were comfortable beds and an electronic key card, a work desk and a tv in the king room.

comfortable room, close proximity to old town, convenient access to bus station
Parking access was a confusing nightmare!!! The maze of back streets made finding the hotel a hassle. The bathroom needed an update, water everywhere without proper fittings, and the lack of privacy from hall windows was very disappointing.

The room was nice, clean and quiet. The location of the hotel is very good, close to the city center, most monuments, and just in front of a covered market.
Just a couple of people from the staff were speaking English. The breakfast was a bit disappointing but if you can get it for a couple of euros per person it's still good value for money.

Very convenient for the evening stroll through the centre of the city by the cathedral - there was also an exhibition of local art open into the late evening. Served the main purpose of my visit to the taifal palace of the twelfth century.

The Economy Double or Twin Room provided a solid night's rest with comfortable bedding, sitting on a quiet higher floor that minimized noise from the trams below. The towels were of decent quality, a relief after reading some mixed reviews.
Sound isolation was a serious problem. Conversations and cleaning noises echoed from all directions. I could hear my neighbor chatting through the walls, and the cleaning staff's early morning activities woke me up. The parking instructions for dropping off luggage were confusing, especially at night amidst tramlines.

Excellent location in the old part of Zaragoza and on a bus route (34) from the station. (If trying to locate it, ask for the Mercado Central, which is directly opposite.) Good, simple buffet breakfast . Peaceful in spite of its central location. Free wi-fi internet (though the room information says it is by ADSL). Friendly staff.
It was disappointing that not only is the advertised swimming pool a few hundred metres away (which I already knew) but now also carries a daily charge of 5 Euros. I selected this hotel in preference to other hotels of similar characteristics because of the advertised pool facilities.
